Steamboat Lake Outfitters is a winter wonderland - and we have the snow! This part of Colorado has a normal snow fall of 300+ inches every year, and the 2007-2008 season was over-the-top - a deep 500 inches!
Winter at Steamboat Lake Outfitters is a snowmobiler's dream - a powder paradise for back country sledders. 150 miles of groomed trails can take you into Wyoming with a plethora of off–trail riding for those who like to take the road less traveled. Bring your own sled and snowmobile from your cabin into the Routt National Forest.

If you are more interested in a quiet outdoor activity, Steamboat Lake State Park has groomed cross country and snowshoe trails - all within 2 miles - just waiting for you.
